A multi-site operation, situated in Holbeach Hurn and Fosdyke Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 600 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Packing Operative to join our Team in Holbeach Hurn, working 06.00 to 18.00 on a 4on/4off shift pattern in the packing site in despatch.
You will play a vital role within our business, working on a production line and in a production team to ensure products are made to high standards. You will be working in a small / line team ensuring Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures are always followed, working closely with the line leader and Quality Control to achieve the best we can and supply the customer with the standard of product they require.
Duties to include:
- First point of contact on the line in despatch
- Completion of all paperwork on the line
- Label issue to the lines and changing labels on the applicators
- Packing/stacking
- Ensuring the product is as per required standard
- Plan adherence, printing Rubicon pallet labels
- Scanning packaging to the line
- Traceability
- Stock rotation
- Responsible for GMP within the area of work
- H&S in the area
About you
- To have worked in a similar environment previously
- Basic understanding of machines and using tools is ideal but full training will be given
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills
- Able to work on own initiative and follow clear instructions
- A can do attitude is a must
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Will be able to follow the required quality and hygiene standards
