We require an experienced deputy head baker and manager, competent in Viennoiserie . The ideal applicant will be proficient in sourdough and yeast breads and be accredited to at least Level 2.
The successful applicant will quickly understand our products and clients and most importantly our Q&A standards. You will implement those standards and ensure the bakers on your watch keep to those standard. Your job is to ensure that the product ready to pack is perfect quality and no ill-advised shortcuts are taken.
We are an expanding bakery with a big vision and need someone with high standards who understands Q&A and will not send out a substandard product. We need a good team player with a good understanding of English and within an easy commute of the bakery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Quality assurance of the product
- Supervision of other bakers
- Production to a high standard
- Observation of health and safety procedures
- Understanding of SALSA standards and our standards
- Leadership
You will be joining a busy team, helping with the preparation of doughs and on shaping and baking of breads and pastries. You will be a vital part of an ambitious bakery and full training will be available where required. There will be much room for personal growth as the bakery itself is growing.

Please be aware we run two shifts, 7.00pm to 3.00am and 11.00am to 7.00pm and you will be expected to work either shift depending on your schedule.
