Financial Planning Analyst


Our client is one of the largest and most experienced global private equity investors with a substantial presence in Luxembourg (non-regulated entity).

For its Finance Department, our client is looking for a dynamic experienced Financial Planning Analyst

Your chore responsibility is to ensure that every aspect of the entities’ finances is properly analysed, documented and interpreted. You would contribute to the development of the financial planning of the company in line with the corporate strategy.

Your responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the analysis of the performance of activities, costs and results
  • Active participation and monitoring of management processes to ensure quality reporting
  • Draft and maintain budget, forecasts
  • Support the implementation of dashboards and steering tools for reporting results (EMAsphere, FIS)
  • Identify areas of optimisation (procedures and workflows), anticipate risks and take corrective actions
  • Assist in issuing internal documents (memorandums, procedures,)

Your profile:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • From 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role in Luxembourg within an operational (commercial/industrial) company or within a financial services company
  • Excellent technical mastery of Microsoft Office and above all Excel
  • Some knowledge of Bob would be an asset
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken is mandatory for the role – any other language would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good and active listening skills
  • Eager to build effective relationships across the business
  • Team player with a positive attitude, able to foster knowledge sharing
  • Highly organized, with good personal time management
  • Able to deliver high quality work
