Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)
Within the Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division, we are looking for a Tribe Release Engineer (TRE) to take over the GDC COI tribe release management.
The Client Onboarding and Interaction (COI) Tribe manages the different assets that enable the definition of authentication, authorization profiles, subscriptions to our different communication channels from our customers. The COI tribe is composed of several squads regularly delivering critical software evolutions and maintenances.

You will contribute to growing our relevance in post trade by realizing the regulatory agenda in strengthening the financial industry, leveraging our franchise to expand globally and re-architecting the post trade landscape.
We are looking for a profile able to coordinate in an autonomous way the regular releases of multiple platforms, in line with (1) the defined schedule and milestones and (2) the expected quality controls.
The Tribe Release Engineer is taking care of the organization of all GDC COI releases (minor and major) in collaboration with other GDC, GTS and GBS release teams. Each release will follow a well-defined cycle composed of: scope analysis, launch material gathering, building and validating the launch scenario, assembling the release, regression test coordination (if required), deployment in Pre-production (PPE) and PROD environments. Post launch after care coordination and post implementation report are also part of the Tribe Release Engineer’s duties.
Due to the central position, you will have to work in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders from the COI tribe but also from other GDC tribes, as well as GTS, GBS and business stakeholders.
You will also need to report to management (in close collaboration with our COI service manager) on the status of the release on a regular basis, especially during the post launch period to provide status/feedback on open incidents assigned to the COI Tribe.
Role:
Your role as Tribe Release engineer will be threefold:
- Manage the release calendar, scope and readiness.
- Plan release check points, roll-out info
- Monitor adequacy to relevant IT-control and quality checks.
- Organize and lead Go-NoGo meetings at Tribe level.
- Control scope evolution and associate risk profile, acting as escalation point in case of issue.
- Report on release readiness
- Execute the release plan and support launches as coordinator, the role of release coordination also implies regular weekend work
- Build, execute and maintain a Continuous Improvement (CI) plan:
- Perform a step-back after each release to correct/improve things for the next release.
- Contribute to medium to long term release evolution in terms of scope, agility of execution, quality improvement…
- Be the COI representative to the release CoP (community of Practice)

- Strong organizational skills and capacity to work autonomously
- Flexibility to quicky adapt in case of unexpected change of priority
- Communication skills and assertiveness: present information clearly and concisely (towards IT and the business), never afraid to challenge people, provide regular information on status and issues in case of escalation, ...

- Experience in coordination within Agile model is a must, in hybrid model (waterfall, agile) is an asset
- Experience in change management will be considered as a strong asset.
- Experience of working with offshore is an asset.
- Experience in a collaboration tool like TFS is a strong asset.
